Lines Ahead is a turn-based strategy puzzle where incoming pieces appear on the grid before they spawn. You have the information. Now find the path, build the line, use Signal Fusion to create new signals, and keep the grid alive.

Incoming signals are visible before they enter play. Read the grid, protect open paths, and plan around the next wave instead of reacting to a hidden random event.

Move, Match, and Clear

Move luminous signals through connected empty cells. Match five or more signals of the same type horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to clear them. Longer lines and well-planned chains earn higher scores.

Create New Frequencies With Signal Fusion

When two different three-signal lines sit side by side, fuse them into a new signal type. Choose which line remains, redirect the other into it, and use the built-in Signal Fusion reference to learn every recipe. A well-timed fusion can open space, rewrite the board, or complete a new line immediately.

Master Four Quantum Actions

Clearing signals charges your Quantum Tool. Longer lines charge it faster. When the grid turns dangerous, use Purge, Warp, Retune, or Stabilize to reshape the board and create a way out. Quantum actions are bonus actions: they do not advance the move counter or summon the next incoming wave.

Follow the Journey

Progress through an ongoing sequence of deterministic levels, each with its own board, signal sequence, and focused mission. Complete the objective to unlock the next level, or restart the same level to refine your approach.

Break Crystalline Locks

Later Journey levels and occasional Daily Signals introduce frozen signals sealed inside crystal. They cannot move, take part in Signal Fusion, or be targeted by Quantum actions. Build matching lines through them repeatedly to crack the shell and free the signal.

Take On a New Daily Signal

Return each day for a shared challenge with a focused objective, deterministic board, and signal sequence. Replay the same Daily Signal, refine your strategy, and improve your result.

Compete Across Platforms

Compare your best eligible Classic score on the worldwide leaderboard and unlock ten achievements for line clears, Quantum actions, score milestones, Daily Signals, Undo, multi-line clears, and combos. Platform services are provided through Google Play Games on Android and Game Center on iPhone.

Track Your Strategy

Review lifetime statistics across Classic games, Daily Signals, line clears, movement, and Quantum actions. One-step undo is available when you want a move back.

Choose Your Signal Style

Change the look without changing the rules. Play with Classic, Simple, Dither, Space Cats, Nebula Bloom, Retrowave, or Jelly themes. Signals use shapes as well as colors for clear identification.

Lines Ahead supports English, Belarusian, German, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Japanese, Korean, and Russian, with automatic system-language detection and a manual language selector.

Lines Ahead is free to download on Android and iPhone and fully playable without a separate app account, an energy system, or a subscription. Core play remains available without a network connection. Leaderboards, achievements, purchases, and advertising require their respective platform services.

The free version may show occasional automatic advertisements after eligible completed Classic games.

The optional one-time Full Experience purchase removes automatic ads and unlocks every included visual theme. It never changes the rules, balance, score, Quantum charge, or competitive eligibility.
